
INTRODUCTION
This National N-Diploma Programme is delivered under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training, and quality assured by Umalusi. The Programme consists of theoretical studies at the College and 24 months relevant practical training (Internship training) in the work place.
The National N-Diploma: Electrical Engineering includes the N3 – N6 Certificates that enable students the opportunity to improve their knowledge and qualifications in the respective Electrical Engineering field of study in order to be suitable for employment in industry: Light Current / Heavy Current / Instrument Mechanician / Millwright.

Admission Requirements For N3
- A Pre-Vocational learning programme certificate with 50% pass in English and Life Orientation, and a 65% pass in Mathematics and Foundational Science.
- Must have passed at least three N2 subjects.
- Grade 12 with relevant trade subjects – Maths & Physical Sciences at 50%.
