INTRODUCTION

This National Certificate Programme is delivered under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training and quality assured by Umalusi. The Programme consists of 18 to 24 months theoretical studies at the College and 24 months relevant practical training (Internship training) in the work place. 

The National Certificate: Chemical Engineering includes the N1 – N6 Certificates that enable students to enter the Water and Waste Water Treatment field of Chemical Engineering studies.
