Meet Mboniseni Hlatswayo whose dream of one day owning his own restaurant has steered him towards the course of Hospitality (NCV), which he is currently studying through the Centre for People Development Campus based in Madadeni, Newcastle.

The passionate hospitality student is in his second year of studies (NQF Level 3) were he is exposed to knowledgeable chefs, state-of-the-art facilities and hands-on methodology were essential components in teaching meet the industry fundamentals, through practice.

Mboniseni’s day begins with a good beat and ends with some melodious songs which helps him to unwind from a stressful day. Over the weekends he enjoys some fresh air, friends and a game of soccer.

“As a Hospitality student at CPD Campus, I was quickly exposed to a great learning environment where the lecturers provide engaging and interesting lessons. Each day I learn something new and exciting about the different culinary cuisines and types of equipment available,” States Mboniseni.

The aspiring chefs passion for food and keen business sense makes the perfect recipe for him to open his own restaurant.
