A determined leader and mentor at heart, Zinhle Vilakazi believes nurturing your studies can spark great career opportunities. At present the 26-year old is studying the course Management Assistant N6 through Majuba TVET Colleges Open Learning Unit. The Unit is based in Madadeni, Section 2 making it a stone’s throw away from where Zinhle resides.

The passionate students interest is sparked through her love for reading books, during her spare time were she enjoys a good read. If the books become too much she would then unwind with a good movie.

“I am a full-time student at the Unit and eagerly look forward to getting to class as the environment created is conducive to learning. My lecturers go the extra mile in ensuring I fully understand the subjects being taught and have additionally absorbed many skills from them that I incorporate into my daily life,” Says Zinhle.

Zinhle, further stated that after completing her N6 at the OLU she will be looking forward to the working environment where she will be assisting managers with various tasks, hereby showcasing her skills when it comes to leading and overseeing employees.

Reaching greater heights together is certainly a motto that the College lives up to.
